Private Network of Trails at Pine Grove

At Pine Grove, we have our own private network of trails throughout the 225 acre property, for use by our guests only, for cross country skiing, snowshoeing or snowmobiling. In the winter, trail grooming is an informal affair accomplished mostly by daily use, therefore, depending upon the amount of snow that has fallen at any one time, and the amount of use the trails have had, they may be easy to navigate or challenging (more exercise).

Snowmobiling
To help you plan for your trip, you need to know that we are located in District 11, with easy access to the Trans-Provincial Trail System (TOPS) that crosses this area. Port Loring is on TOPS Trail D102C. Our local club is the Argyle Riders Snowmobile Club, www.argyleriders.com. From Port Loring, there are a number of scenic Circle Tours which can reach Restoule, Norht Bay, Sudbury, South River, Britt and Parry Sound in a day. Our local group is a member of the the Near North Trail Association, www.nnta.net that maintains 3,500 km (2,100 mi.) of Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs (OFSC) snowmobiling trails.
