We have been enjoying winter this year in Port Loring. The amount of snow has been staggering with more on the way! This is great for anyone who enjoys snowmobiling, snowshoeing or cross country skiing. The farmhouse is available this winter for stays of 3 nights or longer, if you want to experience our Winter Wonderland.
There are also openings in February at Hilary's B&B, the Lost Fox. The link is available in our lodging section, reservations required.
Our updated 2017 rate schedule is now posted online. You will notice that our daily rates have increased by 5% and the weekly rate has remained the same as last year. If you book for a week or longer using our online booking system (Availability Online) it quotes you at the daily rate, we will make the adjustment in pricing when we email you your booking confirmation.
Currently we are hard at work, writing our New Years newsletter, and preparing booking confirmations for people who reserved last year for the 2017 season. These will be mailed out to you next week, all others will receive the newsletter via email, provided we have one for you. Please note that your reservation is not confirmed until we have your deposit.

Sema
Hilary adopted a Northern Ontario mixed breed puppy from a rescue that was abandoned at 5 weeks old. She has adjusted perfectly to our family and gets along very well with Martha, our Wire Fox Terrier. She is now 4.5 months old, and we look forward to everyone meeting her in the upcoming season. She looks a lot like a mini black lab...however she is not a lab. As best we can tell, the mother was Miniature Pinscher/Terrier & the father must have been part pointer because she points!
