Winter...is great for Snow!

Lots of snow up here in the north country!  My father & I went snowshoeing...or should I say we TRIED to go snowshoeing.  Un-groomed trails with 2 foot+ deep powdery snow do not make it easy.

It still was an enjoyable experience, being out in the bush...winter is so quiet.  For the winter sport inclined you cant beat it!

My fave part of the day is curling up with a good book in front of the fire at the Chalet.  
There seems to be an incredible amount of deer in our area this season, they are a daily sight on the roads and in the bush.  We are also seeing wild turkey, they seem to be moving in and loving it.
