While we brave this new world of Covid-19, we want to make sure that everyone has a safe & enjoyable stay. At this time we will not be offering linens/towels. We ask that you bring your own, and also a pillow.
What To Bring
** Fitted Sheet/Flat Sheet & Pillowcases per bed** Or Sleeping Bags
  • Personal Supply of Hand Sanitizer or wipes.
  • Your own Face mask or other PPE if using them
  • Kleenex & Paper Towels
  • Kitchen Garbage Bags
  • Beach towels/Bath Towels/Sheets
  • PFD- Your own Life Jackets if you have them
  • Your favourite Board Games (unfortunately we have had to remove our games box from the cabins)
  • Groceries. We have amazing small places: Ruperts Variety aka Polly's Grocery in Arnstein, Buchanan's Convenience and gas in Port Loring & Dual Rill Farms in Golden Valley. However, we recommend bringing what you need with you and wearing a mask should you need to shop while here.
  • Camping Chairs. We try our best to have enough chairs, but due to physical distancing, you may want to bring your own beach/camping chair.

When are you opening?
We are gearing up to officially open our doors to guests mid-late June. This will be a soft opening and we will only operate at half capacity that week.
Can we still rent boats?
Yes. We still offer boat rentals. Your boat will be cleaned and sanitized before your rental.
Do We Have to Socially Distance?
Yes, we ask that you maintain physical distance measures with people outside of your group.
Do we have to wear a mask everywhere?
No. We do ask that you bring a mask if you plan to shop in town, or go areas where physical distancing is difficult. If you need to come into the Pine Grove Office you must wear a mask, otherwise we can help you outside on the deck.
Do you leave a multi day gap between bookings?
No. We are firm on check in no earlier than 3:30 and check out no later than 9am.
Are you going to take our temperature?
No. We ask you to self-screen before arrival and if you feel unwell or have been in contact with someone unwell, please call to cancel and we can postpone your vacation to another date.
Are our American friends going to be there?
The Border is Open! And as of 2022 vaccinated American guests appear to have an easy time crossing.
Do I have to sign a waiver?
2022: No waiver this year, but we ask you to stay home if you are sick! Follow public health guidelines for quarantine.

2021: We will email you a self screening form and waiver before your visit and ask that you sign, date it and return to us. If you forget we will have one waiting for you at your cabin.

The Province has given us the green light to open.
Please be patient while we implement our new procedures & policies.
Due to the anticipated social distancing measures and new cleaning requirements that will be needed as Pine Grove Resort re-opens, please expect the The Grove experience to be a bit different this year for the comfort and safety of our guests, staff and ourselves.

Covid-19 Protocols in Place

The safety of guests & staff is our utmost priority. Here are some updates that we are working on for this year.
  • We daily monitor the covid-19 situation, through the government, sector organizations and health notices
  • Appropriate signage is posted at the office and various other areas to inform and remind guests & staff of our safety measures
  • Guests will be provided with a waiver via email before they check-in and it needs to be signed & dated
  • Staff is provided with disposable gloves and sanitizing tools for use in cleaning & disinfecting, masks are also available
  • Before guest arrival the cottages will be thoroughly cleaned & sanitized following the required practices set out by the province.
  • Sanitizing of the cabins includes all commonly touched areas such as picnic tables, garbage cans, light switches, door knobs, toilets, taps, handrails, counter tops, fridge, stove, washroom, bed frames etc.
  • Cabins & rooms are not restricted to members of the same household; however, individuals should maintain as much separation as possible.
  • We ask that guests bring all their own bedding & towels, including pillows for their stay, if at all possible. Guests will take their linens home with them upon their departure.
  • In the campgrounds each site will be cleaned & sanitized prior to arrival including outhouse No group camping on sites will be permitted, double sites will not be booked.
  • Advance reservations only. No walk-in or day of reservations will be booked.

  • We ask that guests minimize all community contact between their point of departure and the resort.
  • As part of the booking process guests will be provided with the safety protocols in place at Pine Grove, it is expected that all guests will comply with these protocols, and that failure to comply may lead to guests being asked to leave the resort.
  • A reservation may be canceled if a guest indicates that they have any of the related symptoms
  • When possible, contactless check-in will be employed. Guests can pay their invoice prior to arrival by credit card, cheque or e-transfer, and the cottage will be open upon arrival with the keys inside.

  • When/If contactless check ins are not possible: only 1 guest will be permitted in the office at any one time, guests will be offered hand sanitizer upon entry & exit and physical distancing requirements will be in place.
  • Guests will receive an orientation message in their cabin reconfirming their health and welcoming them to Pine Grove. They will be briefed on the new health & safety procedures being employed.
  • There may be a plexi glass screen in place at the office counter and or staff may be wearing a mask, dont worry we are still the same warm & welcoming hosts...it is just for your safety & ours.
  • Commonly touched services including our cash register and payment machines/ipad will be sanitized after each use.
  • Unfortunately our weekly Wednesday Weiner Roasts on the beach are cancelled for 2020. :(
